Big Jerks, Cassette Series #4

Culled from hiss ridden cassette recordings from the early eighties, this confirms that Big Jerks were experimenting with improv from the very beginnning. While the early band was honing our Set Songs for the cheesy New Wave club circuit, we stretched out and jammed during rehearsals. Being fans of Frank Zappa and Miles Davis, we knew to always record our efforts, in case we stumbled across something transcendant. This disc reveals the Big Jerks early thought process.

The cuts:

1. Scary Jam

2. Turned the Corner

3. Jerks Bebop

4. More Scary Jams

5. Stravinsky Jerks

6. I Was Lost

7. Polly Riddum

8. Back in the Black
