Janice organized an
amazing celebration jam for Karl, we had a barbecue just outside
the door and a room full of beautiful gear at Abalone Lounge.
Tim flew in from back east, Schwag brought his vibes, the music
was filled with respect and love for Karl Grossman. Karl , in
a fit of inspiration, wrote Mineral Deposit in 5 minutes, charted
it for Tim, and we tackled it like we tackle everything: "o
hell ,go for it". Tim hadn't played horns in years, but
he met the challenge head on. Big Jerks likes that sort of musical
bravery.
