Karl was also a guitar teacher at Gene Leis Music in Manhattan Beach in the seventies. He joins Brian Sisson in releasing a tribute CD of tunes Gene used to play. Karl's disc features solo arrangements for guitar, technically difficult but swinging and mellow.
